MetalNRG PLC (LSE:MNRG) said consultants are on site and work is set to get underway on a second phase of exploration at its Gold Ridge gold mine property in Arizona.
The first phase of exploration showed the largest gold anomalies were found in historical areas mined for gold but a secondary zone was found in an area previously unexplored with a new liner zone delineated in the Southern Precambrian block.
MetalNRG believes it is possible a larger undiscovered gold/base metal system exists at Gold Ridge and soil geochemistry sampling will now be carried out on the remaining untested areas to test this.
Results from the samples are expected towards the end of June or the beginning of July.
