BioHarvest Sciences Inc. (CSE:BHSC, OTC:CNVCF) revealed that VINIA, the first product developed on the company’s bio-cell CELLicitation growth platform, won an honorable mention in the wellness category of Fast Company’s 2023 World Changing Ideas Awards.

Vancouver and Rehovot, Israel-based BioHarvest has developed a patented bio-cell growth platform technology capable of growing the beneficial ingredients in fruit and plants, at an industrial scale, without the need to grow the plant itself.
As a result, VINIA is derived from red grape cells grown in bioreactors, without growing the plant. In a nutshell, the biotech company's "world changing idea" enables it to elicit unique botanical compositions, at an industrial scale, without stressing the earth.
BioHarvest’s flagship VINIA red grape supplement is designed to improve cardiovascular health and is backed by multiple clinical trials published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
VINIA is clinically proven to increase dilation of arteries, which improves blood flow and the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the body's cells, tissues, and organs, and removal of cellular waste and toxins.
It’s the only product in the North American market that sources all its resveratrol from Piceid resveratrol, solely from the red grape. BioHarvet’s technology boosts the piceid resveratrol concentration by over 100X, compared to what is found in red grapes.
Most importantly, BioHarvest's CELLicitation process is sustainable as the VINIA grape cells are grown in bioreactors, requiring roughly 1 square meter of space each, producing the same amount of Piceid resveratrol as would come from red grapes grown on 240,000 square meters of land. By growing the VINIA grape cells in bioreactors, BioHarvest also uses a fraction of the water actual land cultivation of red grapes would demand.
