Redx Pharma to present additional data on lead asset at key conference

Redx Pharma PLC (AIM:REDX) has said it will present additional preclinical data on its fibrosis portfolio at The Resistant Tumour Microenvironment Keystone Symposia from May 7-10, taking place in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr Daniel Wilcock, a Redx senior scientist, will discuss targeting tumour fibrosis using ROCK2 or DDR1/2 inhibitors on May 10.

The presentation will cover therapy response improvement in pancreatic and triple-negative breast cancer models. Data will be presented on RXC007, Redx's lead fibrosis asset, and the DDR discovery programme.

A poster will also be presented, detailing RXC007's potential in an aggressive pancreatic cancer model combined with standard chemotherapy. The presentation will explore DDR1/2 inhibition in a triple-negative breast cancer model alongside anti-PD-1 treatment.

RXC007, Redx's lead asset, is an orally-active ROCK2 inhibitor targeting multiple fibrosis-related diseases.

It is being initially developed for interstitial lung diseases. A phase IIa study assessing RXC007 as a potential treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is expected to report topline data in the first quarter of next year.
