Forward Water Technologies CEO Howie Honeyman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has completed the licensing of specific technology from FUJIFILM Corporation. The technology, the company says, will now solidify protection of its water treatment technology platform. Honeyman shares with Proactive the addition of this technology allows the company to leverage all aspects of Forward Osmosis which is a water separation process which uses a semipermeable membrane and the natural energy of osmotic pressure to separate water from dissolved solutes. FUJIFILM has created a number of treatments using this process, and now Forward Water will has access to that Intellectual Property.
