Walkabout Resources Ltd (ASX:WKT), the graphite mining company, has signed a term sheet with a group yard of London for $25 million, which is enough to get the Lindy Jumbo project in Tanzania completed and into production.
Andrew Cunningham, CEO of Walkabout Resources, says that the project is now back on track, and they have kicked off their construction activities, with shipments from China arriving and more on the way.
The company is focused on securing a takeoff agreement for speciality parts of the graphite industry, especially for the larger flakes, with a lot of interest from Europe and the US.
