Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) (LVCG) has announced that the KPOP Lux Madrid Concert, which is set to take place at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium on 22 June 2023, will feature seven well-known K-pop acts, with tickets going on sale from tomorrow, 27 April.
The concert is a collaboration between KPOP LUX, L.A. Rock Entertainment, and SBS, a major Korean terrestrial broadcasting company. Three of the acts that have been announced are Enhyphen, Ateez and Ive, with four more to be announced next month.
LVCG generates revenue from ticket sales, merchandising, sponsorship, and streaming. The contract with SBS is for four years and LVCG intends to increase the number of days in 2024 to two and potentially in 2025 to three. This would significantly increase the potential profits of KPOPLUX Madrid, it said.
In a statement, David Ciclitira, LVCG chairman, expressed his excitement about the event, saying: "The team is excited to be working with SBS to bring a new iconic show to Hispanic audiences throughout the world. My thanks go to our producers L.A. Rock Entertainment - Spain's leading independent music producer."

The concert is an excellent opportunity for K-pop fans in Spain and Europe to see some of the top acts in the genre. Enhyphen, currently one of the top 10 K-pop acts in 2023, has never performed in Spain, making this a particularly exciting opportunity for their fans. ATEEZ is well-known to the Spanish K-pop fans, having performed in Madrid earlier this year and in 2020. Their popularity and engagement with their Spanish fanbase make them another must-see act. Meanwhile, Ive has taken the K-pop world by storm since their debut in December 2021, winning Song of the Year for their single Love Dive in 2022 at four different major music awards.
