Caracal Gold PLC (LSE:GCAT) has formally confirmed Simon Rennick as its executive chairman having made him chairman designate on 23 January.
A review of the company’s corporate governance policies and procedures is also making good progress, the company said in a statement
Robbie McCrae, Caracal’s chief executive, noted that Rennick's experience makes him "the ideal person to review the company's corporate governance procedures.”
Rennick has managed mining companies in Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Mexico and Botswana and in the UK was a co-founder of Industrial Mineral Finance House.
