Empire Metals granted exploration licence on Yerilgee belt

Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE) said it has been granted an exploration licence for the Walton copper-gold-lithium project located in Western Australia’s Yerilgee greenstone belt.

Yerilgee is host to world-class volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) systems such as Golden Grove and Cobre's emerging Perrinvale Project.

Empire said it expects to mobilise its exploration team in June-July this year to commence surface soils/auger sampling and geological mapping.

Exploration at Walton will be undertaken in parallel with work at the Pitfield copper project.
