Auxico Resources Canada Inc (CSE:AUAG, OTCQB:AUXIF) Chairman Emeritus Pierre Gauthier discusses the results of metallurgical testing conducted on rare earth concentrates from the company's Minastyc property in Colombia with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion.
Auxico noted that the results of the testing demonstrate the ability to produce commercial concentrates of light and heavy rare earths, which are used in electric vehicle batteries.
Gauthier said Auxico is well placed to meet demand for the critical minerals that are needed to drive the shift towards clean energy systems and a green economy. Due to its processes, it requires much lower capital and operating expenditure than competitors, he added.
