N4 Pharma PLC (AIM:N4P) shares rose 5% in the first hour of trade after the company revealed that its delivery system for cancer drugs and vaccines has generated early, positive results.
Lab tests of the Nuvec technology loaded with EGFR and BCL-2 short-interfering RNA (siRNA) showed inhibition of cell growth comparable to two commercially available leukaemia drugs.
The shares, off 31% in the last year, advanced 0.1p to 2p early on.
