Titan Lithium reports positive soil geochemical results from Titan 2 lithium project

China Dongsheng International Inc (CDSG) said its subsidiary Titan Lithium has received positive soil geochemical sample results from additional sampling of its Titan 2 lithium project in Tanzania.

The soil sample results delineate a continuous zone that covers more than half of the grid zone, which covers about 30% of the total project area, and averages 1.11% Li2O (4,486 parts per million (ppm) lithium), the company said.

The lowest positive value returned 200 ppm lithium and the highest value returned 2.28% Li2O.

Follow-up work will include further prospecting, geologic mapping, infill sampling and a drill program when permitted, said Titan Lithium CEO Craig Alford in a statement.

“The surficial results from Titan 2 are exceptional and have helped both expand and define a significant area of very strong lithium in this region,” Alford said.

CDSG, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Titan Lithium, is a lithium explorer and developer with operations in Nevada, USA and The United Republic of Tanzania.
