Renforth Resources updates on its lithium exploration program at Surimeau

Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR, OTCQB:RFHRF) has provided an update on its lithium exploration program at its Surimeau project in Québec, noting that it has sampled pegmatite with elevated rare earth elements.

The company said its geologists spent one day in mid-February on a prospecting effort in the powerline cut corridor at Surimeau, where they obtained two samples, one consisting entirely of pegmatite and one of a mix of pegmatite and granite.

Both samples were tested using XRF, which resulted in elevated rare earth element reading, Renfirth added, and have been sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Due to the limited time and difficult weather conditions, only two samples were obtained, but Renforth said it is planning a more extensive prospecting program in May, utilizing outside consultants specializing in pegmatite exploration. Additional details of the program will be announced as they become available.

In a statement, Nicole Brewster, president and CEO of Renforth said: "Our exploration program at Surimeau is a key part of our ongoing efforts to extend mineralized zones and define the amount of metal in structures within our land position. We are excited about the elevated rare earth element readings obtained from the samples and look forward to the results from the laboratory analysis."

Renforth has a significant brownfield land position south of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Fault (CLLF) in Quebec's Abitibi. The company's land position encompasses several areas of interest and offers exposure to gold, zinc, nickel, copper, cobalt, and lithium.

Renforth's position is unique in that the ground is road accessible, has hydropower in place and is in an established and secure mining jurisdiction, which regularly ranks as a top 10 jurisdiction in the world.
