Junior resource stock climbs on copper equivalent results plus more daily small cap and micro cap movers

A long interval of copper mineralization sparked shares of Oroco Resource Corp Thursday plus other big percentage movers on news from the small and micro cap space

4:05pm: Orford Mining (TSX-V:ORM), Recruiter.com Group shares add to gains late day

Oroco Resource closed up 9% at $0.95, while Orford Mining surged 23% to $0.24, Thunderstruck Resources (TSX-V:AWE) finished 40% higher to $0.07, and Recruiter.com Group ended up 23% at $0.33.

11:55am: Oroco Resource, Thunderstruck Resources (TSX-V:AWE) shares advance sharply

Oroco Resource Corp (TSX-V:OCO, OTCQB:ORRCF) shares surged 22% to $1.06 on Thursday after the resource projects developer announced assay results from drill holes N044 and N045 of the North Zone drilling program at its Santo Tomas property in Mexico, which included 352.5 metres (m) of 0.93% copper equivalent.

As well, shares of Orford Mining (TSX-V:ORM) Corporation jumped 13% to $0.22 as the gold and critical mineral explorer said it continues to receive thick mineralized gold intervals from its 2023 drill program at the Joutel Eagle property in Quebec, with drill results that included 14.2 metres (m) of 2.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

Thunderstruck Resources (TSX-V:AWE) Ltd, meanwhile, reported that the scope for a substantial increase in the scale of the Nakoro zinc/copper/silver prospect in Fiji has been provided through a recent induced polarisation (IP) geophysical survey. Thunderstruck Resources (TSX-V:AWE) stock moved up 30% to $0.065 following the announcement.

And, Recruiter.com Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:RCRT) shares gained 13% to $0.30 on Thursday after the recruiting platform company revealed that it has beta launched Candidate Pitch, a novel app powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT.
