Globex Mining Enterprises Inc announced to its shareholders that Orford Mining (TSX-V:ORM) Corp has reported additional wide gold intersections on the Joutel Eagle property in Quebec under option from Globex.
The company said Orford revealed that hole 23-JE-008 drilled into the South Gold Zone intersected “two thick intersections of gold mineralization”, which included 15.7 metres (m) of 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, from 21.7m to 35.1m depth, as well as 14.2m of 2.2 g/t gold.
Globex noted the drill program has tested a 400m strike length of the South Gold Zone and drill results received to date both in the 2022 and preliminary 2023 drilling have shown that the South Gold Zone hosts higher grade gold over wider intersections than had been reported historically.
The company added that 14 holes totaling 2,535 metres have been drilled on the Joutel Eagle property in 2023.
Listed in Toronto, Frankfurt and on the OTCQX in the US, Globex boasts a North American portfolio featuring mid-stage exploration, development, and royalty properties. These assets span precious metals, base metals, specialty metals, minerals, and industrial compounds.
