CULT Food Science Corp (CSE:CULT, OTCQB:CULTF)’s Noochies! brand has made its public debut, offering unique freeze-dried, high-protein, cultured pet foods.
“Our patent-pending freeze dry process avoids nutrient degradation in the extrusion process and helps keep proteins bioavailable for better absorption,” the company said in a statement.
The brand’s first products are expected to become available in the third quarter of 2023 led by direct-to-consumer e-commerce sales in the US and later by online partnerships and in-store sales in California.
The Noochies! website is up and running and gives consumers the chance to gain first access when the products become available.
Notably, the brand’s products contain Bmmune, a patent-pending animal-free ingredient similar to conventional meat. Noochies! has also formulated its own probiotic, Bflora, which blends four bacterial strains of healthy gut bacteria with a probiotic yeast for the gut health of pets.
The company noted that its unit Further Foods Inc. will acquire the assets underlying the brand and its products from Joshua Errett under a binding letter of intent for which due diligence is nearing completion and closing is expected soon. Errett is VP of product development at CULT.
Additionally, the company said that it has settled a debt of $30,000 by issuing 333,333 shares at $0.09 each to CEO Lejjy Gafour.
