Transition Metals Corp (TSX-V:XTM) said it has been granted a Quartz Class 1 Notification from the Yukon government allowing for exploration activities at its Pike Warden gold-silver-copper project.
The company said the notification will allow it to carry out exploration programs including prospecting, geological mapping, hand trenching, and percussion reverse circulation (RC) drilling across the property.
Transition Metals intends to carry out exploration at Pike Warden following results acquired in 2022 to further define and discover additional structural trends, alteration footprints, and zones of mineralization, with a focus on underexplored northern claims that were not investigated last year.
An RC program is also being considered to assess the mineralization in the ERT zone and other high-priority showings at Pike Warden.
The Pike Warden property, located about 65 kilometres southwest of Whitehorse, Yukon, hosts 18 historic and recently discovered high-grade polymetallic showing indicative of a large epithermal-porphyry system, Transition Metals noted.
To date, sampling at the property has returned values up to 11,270 grams per ton of gold, 44.5 grams per ton of silver, 7.49% copper, and 59.6% lead, per the company.
Transition Metals is a multi-commodity project generator focused on the discovery of ore deposits in Canada.
