Gold Basin Resources bolsters management team

Gold Basin Resources Corporation (TSX-V:GXX) has announced the appointments of Monty Sutton as its chief financial officer (CFO) and Stephen Pearce as corporate secretary of the company.

In a statement, Colin Smith, CEO of Gold Basin commented: "Together, Messrs. Sutton and Pearce bring over 60 years of experience in capital markets and corporate governance, which will be a tremendous asset to the Company as we continue to advance the Gold Basin project."

Gold Basin noted Sutton has worked most of his career with PI Financial Corp as an investment advisor, equities trader, and insurance specialist, before subsequently serving as CFO for Exploits Discovery Corp and corporate development manager with eCobalt Solutions.

It noted that Pearce has 25 years of experience in mining and law, sits on several boards, and is the CFO of two mineral exploration companies.

In connection with the appointments, the company also announced that Kevin Lynn has resigned as its CFO and corporate secretary.

Smith commented: "We appreciate Kevin's contributions to the growth of Gold Basin, his continued support through the transition process, and wish him all the best going forward."
