Hapbee Technologies Inc (TSX-V:HAPB, OTCQB:HAPBF) is seeing usage of its sleep routine technology increase among an also growing customer base, the company announced.
The company’s active member base rose to 7,800 users in the first quarter, and users logged an average of 45 sessions each. This upswing reflects the success in shipping and onboarding of Hapbee’s new Smart Sleep Pad in the fourth quarter of 2022, the company said.
"Surpassing the 3-million-hour mark of cumulative signal play-time on the platform at the end of Q1 2023 is an important milestone for Hapbee as it allows us to continue to build upon a growing and stable base of customers who are adopting our technology," CEO Yona Shtern said in a statement. "We continue to test and learn from user feedback to help inform product enhancements as we prepare to further scale our distribution and manufacturing."
An analysis found that Hapbee customers were primarily using the Smart Sleep Pad’s deep sleep, relax and long flight settings; and the Neckpad for its focus and alert settings.
That speaks to “round the clock utility,” the company said.
Hapbee’s devices rely on magnetic-field technology designed to help people sleep better and improve their performance and mood. It works by digitally replaying ultra-low frequency electromagnetic signals that are derived from compounds like caffeine, nicotine and melatonin — but without the possible drawbacks of those substances.
