BioVie to present Phase 2 trial data abstracts at 2023 American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting

BioVie announced that data abstracts from its Phase 2 trials evaluating NE3107 in degenerative dementias and Parkinson’s disease will be presented at the 2023 American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting, being held virtually and in Boston, Massachusetts from April 22 to 27.

The company’s drug candidate NE3107 inhibits inflammatory activation of ERK and NFkB which lead to neuroinflammation and insulin resistance in neurodegenerative disease without impacting their homeostatic functions such as insulin signalling and neuron growth and survival, according to BioVie.

At the conference, Joseph Palumbo will be presenting the new poster “Multi-Modal Correlation Analyses from a Phase 2, Open-Label Study of NE3107 in Patients with Cognitive Decline Due to Degenerative Dementias” on April 25 at 8am Eastern Time.

Encore poster “Clinical Outcomes from a Phase 2, Open-Label Study of NE3107 in Patients with Cognitive Decline Due to Degenerative Dementias” will be presented by Kaya Jordan on April 25 at 11.45am Eastern Time.

Another encore poster “Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of NE3107 from a Phase 2, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study in Levodopa/Carbidopa-Treated Patients with Parkinson's Disease” is being presented by Nilab Osman on April 23 at 8am Eastern Time.

BioVie is a clinical-stage company developing innovative drug therapies for the treatment of neurological and neurodegenerative disorders and advanced liver disease.
