Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched its own generative AI service named Bedrock.
Designed to assist corporate customers in incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into their businesses, the Bedrock offers companies the tools to build and grow their own AI applications, customising Amazon-designed large language models Titan Text and Titan Embeddings to their data and requirements.
The models are aimed at creating text for items such as blog posts and emails and search personalisation.
Modules from Amazon start-up AI21, Google-backed Anthropic and Stability AI will also be included in Bedrock.
Shares in AWS's parent, Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) ended Thursday almost 5% higher, adding around US$46bn to the value of the business.
