The US financial sector results season begins tomorrow with interims from Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, and BlackRock.
With the tremors of SVB and Signature Bank’s collapse still impacting many of the regional banks in America, investors may be keen to see how Wall Street constituents have fared.
Over in London, CMC Markets PLC (LSE:CMCX) is also expected to feel the effects of last month’s turmoil when it provides full-year results.
The financial service’s shares have lost more than a quarter of their value in 2023, with a recent trading update noting it experienced a “more challenging environment” in February and March.
In the retail sector, the online electrical store AO World PLC (LSE:AO.) is expected to report strong full-year results after raising its profit guidance twice this year.
Adjusted underlying earnings are expected to be in the range of £37.5mln to £45mln, an increase on the £30mln-£40mln range guided in January.
