ATOME Energy PLC (AIM:ATOM) CEO Olivier Mussat and Longspur Research analyst Adam Forsyth speak to Proactive about recent progress at ATOME's planned green ammonia plant in Iceland.
ATOME Energy has signed a term sheet on power supply with HS Orka for the plant, with a view to ultimately producing hydrogen for use in the country's fishing fleet.
Forsyth suggests that the timing of the project aligns well with the European Union's push for hydrogen production and consumption, with targets of 10 million tonnes of domestically produced hydrogen in the Eurozone by 2030.
