The launch of SpaceX’s Super Heavy rocket Starship has again been delayed, the company’s CEO Elon Musk confirmed on Monday.
Musk had earlier teased a blast-off date around Easter Monday, sharing a video of the preparations at SpaceX’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas.
Now the rocket launch test is expected to take place later in April.
“Starship launch trending towards near the end of third week of April,” Musk wrote in a tweet on Monday.

In a revised notice, the Federal Aviation Administration said the launch could take place on April 17.
Starship’s launch has been significantly delayed, due largely to environmental concerns.
SpaceX said the rocket will be fully reusable to carry crew and cargo to orbits around Earth and later, to the Moon and beyond.
The company said Starship will be capable of lifting more than 100 tonnes into higher geostationary orbit, compared with SpaceX's current Falcon Heavy's maximum of 70 tonnes, meaning it could vastly slash the cost-per-weight.
