FE Battery Metals stock surges on lithium results plus more daily small cap movers

Lithium drill results sparked shares of FE Battery Metals Corp Monday plus other big percentage movers on news from the small and micro cap space

4:05pm: Reklaim shares add to gains late afternoon

FE Battery Metals closed up 15% at $0.77, while Arrival SA rose 16% to $0.14, Reklaim finished 38% higher to $0.055, and The Greenbrier (NYSE:GBX) Companies ended up 10% at $33.27.

1:15pm: FE Battery Metals, Arrival SA shares make big gains

FE Battery Metals Corp (CSE:FE) shares shot up 34% to $0.90 on Monday after the explorer and developer of early-stage lithium pegmatite projects announced results of drill hole LC23-50 from the current 2023 program at its flagship Augustus Lithium Property in Quebec, which included a 17.5-metre-wide section of 1.19% lithium oxide (Li2O) at 82.4 metres depth.

As well, shares of Arrival SA (NASDAQ:ARVL) jumped 31% to $0.16 as the company said it struck a business combination agreement with Kensington Capital Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company.

Arrival is developing an innovative Class 4 extra-large van that the company believes offers a high-quality user experience and lower cost of ownership for commercial operators.

Reklaim (TSXV:MYID) stock, meanwhile, continued to move higher Monday, up 25% to $0.05 following a 33% gain on Thursday after the consumer data management company reported that it fiscal 2022 revenue rose 36% year over year to a record $2,361,110, while its gross margin improved by 87% year over year as the company focuses on profitability.

And, The Greenbrier (NYSE:GBX) Companies Inc shares gained 10% to $33.10 on Monday after the maker of railroad freight car equipment reported fiscal second quarter net income that topped the Street's expectations, posting adjusted earnings of $0.99 per share for the period ended February 28, well ahead of the $0.61 per share average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
