Getchell Gold Corp. (CSE:GTCH, OTCQB:GGLDF) President Mike Sieb tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that a gold price above $2,000 an ounce enhances the economics of the company's flagship Fondaway Canyon project in Nevada, where a recent Mineral Resources Estimate (MRE) revealed a significant expansion to a historic MRE published by a previous operator in 2017.
Nineteen drill holes, totaling 6,973 metres were drilled by the company between 2020 and 2022, and Sieb said the company is poised to realize significant upside as drilling at Fondaway Canyon continues this year. The company plans to keep two drills turning all year long as it continues to expand and increase the resource into what may be one of the most prominent new projects in Nevada.
