Wishpond Technologies gets 'Buy' rating, boosted price target from PI Financial

Wishpond Technologies Ltd is a stock to watch with a new all-in-one marketing and sales solution on the market and more acquisitions potentially to come, according to analysts at PI Financial.

The Vancouver-based company received a ‘Buy’ rating and C$1.75 price target, up from C$1.50.

In a note, analysts pointed to the recent launch of Propel IQ, the company’s new full-service marketing and sales offering. Propel IQ combines Wish's software with its recent acquisitions to create an integrated platform providing businesses with a comprehensive, affordable, and easy-to-use marketing, analysts said.

In fact, Wishpond has acquired five companies since it went public in December 2020. The company has a diversified customer base of over 4,000 customers, the analysts noted, which helps to reduce revenue volatility.

“Each one of these acquisitions has contributed to providing a full-service and all-in-one marketing and sales solution,” analysts said.

“[We] anticipate more M&A as market conditions improve.”

Wishpond primarily serves small to medium-sized companies, and its top customer segments include e-commerce (25%), B2B (19%), and service providers (19%).

The company expects to generate organic growth of 30%-40% in 2023, which is in line with its historic average.
