Sovereign Metals Ltd (ASX:SVM, OTC:SVMLF, AIM:SVML) has upsized its indicated rutile and graphite resource at the Kasiya deposit in Malawi to 1.12 billion tonnes, weighing in at 1% rutile and 1.5% graphite.

Meanwhile, Kasiya’s global mineral resource estimate has grown to more than 1.8 billion tonnes — a figure that will underpin mine inventory and planning ahead of a pre-feasibility study (PFS).

Mila Resources PLC (LSE:MILA) has confirmed that the company is in discussions with regard to a transaction for the Kathleen Valley project in Western Australia relating to a joint venture partner.

In a brief statement, released after the market close on Monday in relation to its share price movement, the post-discovery gold exploration accelerator said the transaction is the subject of further discussion and agreement with its partners in the licence, therefore, there can be no certainty that any transaction will be completed.

Tirupati Graphite PLC (LSE:TGR, OTCQX:TGRHF) said it has achieved commercial production of 97% pure flake graphite from its Vatomina project in Madagascar.

Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) said a total of 41 reverse circulations and 18 diamond drill holes have been completed at its Bougouni Lithium Project in southern Mali, highlighting the "potential for expansion."

The drilling totalled 6,360 metres (m) and was focused on the development and extension at the Ngoualana prospect.

Tirupati Graphite PLC (LSE:TGR, OTCQX:TGRHF) said it has successfully completed the acquisition of Suni Resources SA, a Mozambique-incorporated subsidiary of ASX-listed Battery Minerals Limited on 1 April 2023.

In a statement, Shishir Poddar, executive chairman of Tirupati Graphite (TG), commented: "We are delighted to announce the completion of the acquisition of Suni Resources. This strategic acquisition will see us materially strengthen our existing portfolio through the addition of two world-class graphite assets located within one of the largest commercially operating global flake graphite projects.
