4:05pm: Denarius Metals shares add to gains late day
Denarius Metals closed up 16% at $0.465, while Cabral Gold rose 17% to $0.14, Immunic finished 6% higher to $1.55, and Trillion Energy International ended up 5% at $0.40.
1:05pm: Denarius Metals, Cabral Gold shares make big gains
Denarius Metals Corp (TSXV:DSLV) shares climbed 13% to $0.45 on Wednesday after the junior explorer announced that it has received approval for a three-year extension of its Rubia Permit at the Lomero project in Spain, while noting that it expects to have its Phase 2 drilling results at Lomero available later in April and plans to continue its exploration work in Spain in 2023 with 10,000 metres (m) of drilling at its Lomero Project and 7,000m of drilling at the Toral Project.
As well, shares of Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR) gained 17% to $0.14 as the gold junior said its Brazilian subsidiary has engaged Ausenco do Brasil Engenharia Ltda to begin a pre-feasibility study (PFS) on trial mining and leach processing of the near-surface gold-in-oxide saprolitic material at the Cuiú Cuiú project in northern Brazil.

Immunic Inc (NASDAQ:IMUX), meanwhile, reported positive data from the maintenance phase of its phase 2b CALDOSE-1 trial of lead asset vidofludimus calcium (IMU-838) in patients with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis (UC). Immunic stock popped 16% to $1.70 following the announcement.
And, Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF) shares rose 9% to $0.42 on Wednesday after the natural gas producer announced the results of its January reserve report update for the SASB gas field, saying its share of proved and probable conventional natural gas reserves (P2) in the field increased 30% to 63.3 billion cubic feet (BCF) at the end of 2022.
