4:05pm: NGEx Minerals, Kuya Silver shares add to gains late afternoon
NGEx Minerals closed up 25% at $5.49, while Kuya Silver gained 22% to $0.495, Soma Gold finished unchanged at $0.52, and Butterfly Network ended up 21% at $2.27.
11:55am: NGEx Minerals, Kuya Silver shares advance sharply
NGEx Minerals Ltd (TSXV:NGEX) shares climbed 24% to $5.45 on Tuesday after the copper and gold exploration company announced the discovery of what it called a “significant” new zone of high-grade copper, gold and silver mineralization at its 100% owned Potro Cliffs project in Argentina, which included 60 metres (m) of 7.52% copper equivalent.
As well, shares of Kuya Silver Corp (CSE:KUYA, OTCQB:KUYAF) jumped 20% to $0.485 as the mineral exploration and development company revealed assay results from the newly discovered, silver-bearing Angus Vein in the Campbell-Crawford area at the Silver Kings Project in northern Ontario, which included 16,800 grams per tonne (g/t) silver over 3.04m.
Soma Gold Corp (TSXV:SOMA), meanwhile, reported that it has achieved production of 6,796 gold equivalent ounces at its 100% owned El Bagre gold mine in Colombia in the first quarter of 2023, up 32.6% from the same period last year. Soma Gold stock moved up 8% to $0.56 following the announcement.

And, Butterfly Network, Inc (NYSE:BFLY) shares gained 18% to $2.21 on Tuesday after the digital health company announced that its AI-enabled lung tool Auto B-line Counter has received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
