4:05pm: Cruz Battery Metals, Fathom Nickel (CSE:FNI) shares add to gains late day
Cruz Battery Metals closed up 16% at $0.11, while Aurora Cannabis rose 6% to $0.94, Angel Wing Metals finished 14% higher to $0.16, and Fathom Nickel ended up 32% at $0.145.
11:55am: Cruz Battery Metals, Fathom Nickel (CSE:FNI) shares advance sharply
Cruz Battery Metals Corp (CSE:CRUZ) shares climbed 11% to $0.105 on Friday after the resource projects developer announced results from the Phase 3 drill program on its Solar Lithium Project in Nevada, noting that it unearthed lithium in every hole of the program, including the highest lithium value to date.
As well, shares of Aurora Cannabis Inc (TSX:ACB, NASDAQ:ACB) gained 7% to $0.95 as the cannabis company said it has repurchased about $46.6 million principal amount of its convertible senior notes at a total cost, including accrued interest, which is expected to save the company $2.6 million in annualized interest payments.
Angel Wing Metals Inc (TSXV:AWM), meanwhile, reported that it has appointed Marc Prefontaine as its new president and CEO, effective April 15, 2023, while Cal Everett has been appointed as chairman of its board of directors. Angel Wing Metals stock popped 29% to $0.18 following the announcement.
And, Fathom Nickel (CSE:FNI) shares continued to move higher Friday, up 27% to $0.14 with a 55% gain on the week, after the exploration company Tuesday announced the preliminary modelling of several robust off-hole, borehole electromagnetic (BHEM) conductors associated with five drill holes at its Gochager Lake project in Saskatchewan.
