Topps Tiles, the London-listed tile specialists, will be posting first-half results on Wednesday with investors hoping the group can pick up from where it left off in its first-quarter update.
In a trading update issued in January, Topps Tiles said sales were 10.2% higher than the same period a year earlier.
The company did however warn that profitability is expected to be weighted more towards the second half than is usually the case.
This is due to a significant increase in gas prices, the timing of accruals, the impact of newer businesses and the easing in supply chain costs as the year progresses.
Shares in Topps Tiles have remained flat in the year so far, up 0.79% to 46.9p
