Hawkmoon Resources Corp (CSE:HM, OTCQB:HWKRF) said it has appointed Patrick Morris as a director and chief executive officer (CEO) and corporate secretary of the company, with Jasmine Cherian named as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
The company also announced the resignations of Branden Haynes as director, CEO and CFO with effect from March 27, 2023, and Hugh Oswald as a director, effective March 22, 2023.
Haynes had taken on the role of interim CFO on February 22, 2023, when he replaced Geoff Balderson in the role. Hawkmoon thanked Haynes and Oswald for their contributions to the company.

The company said Morris is a seasoned entrepreneur and capital markets expert with two decades of experience successfully raising funds for microcap companies across diverse industries. His expertise spans pharmaceutical cannabis, resource exploration, blockchain technologies, finance and innovative businesses dedicated to the future of food.
As CEO and director of Eat Beyond Global Holdings Inc, Canada's pioneering publicly traded investment issuer focused exclusively on investing in the future of food, Morris demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills and market acumen, Hawkmoon said.
Additionally, he co-created and co-produced Canada's first nationally syndicated radio show showcasing growth stock opportunities, which aired on 14 of the top-rated news talk stations across the country, cementing his reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable authority in the investment world.
Meanwhile, Cherian is an accounting and business administration professional who holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Calicut and an advanced diploma in accounting from BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology).
Hawkmoon is focused on junior-stage project acquisitions across Canada. One of these projects is located in one of the world's largest gold-endowed areas, the Abitibi greenstone belt. The Wilson gold project can be accessed by government-maintained roads located east of the town of Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Quebec.
The company recently acquired the Barriere and Gilnockie projects in British Columbia, as well as the Bonanza lithium brines property located in Alberta.
