Sirius Real Estate Limited (LSE:SRE, JSE:SRE, OTC:SRRLF), a leading provider of flexible working spaces in the UK and Germany, has announced the appointment of Chris Bowman as chief financial officer.
Bowman brings nearly 25 years of accounting, finance and capital markets experience to Sirius.
Prior to joining Sirius, he led the UK investment banking arm of Berenberg, a division that he helped to build over the past eight years.
Bowman, who qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2000, spent seven years in investment banking at Liberum, before which he worked in corporate finance at Canaccord and Credit Lyonnais.
His appointment becomes effective on 29 August 2023, at which time he will also join the Sirius board.
Upon Bowman's arrival, interim chief financial officers Alistair Marks will resume his role as chief investment officer, a position which he has held since January 2021.
Marks will also step down from the board at this year's annual general meeting on 10 July and will remain employed by the company to lead its investment strategy across Germany and the UK.
