Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:IHC) has announced the launch of an extended range of neonatal ventilators in the UK.
The new SLE6000 variants are designed to provide precise, controlled ventilation for critically ill babies and will be sold directly and through selected international distributors. The company plans to continue its international rollout throughout the year.
The three new variants cater to the specialized healthcare needs of vulnerable patients in critical and high-dependency care settings, offering non-invasive respiratory support. This represents a new market segment for the company.
The SLE6000H features powerful high-frequency oscillation, actively controlling pressure, volume and frequency to protect the fragile lungs of critically ill patients.
The SLE6000C offers full specification invasive and non-invasive modes that can be easily adapted based on the baby's needs, and the SLE6000N provides non-invasive, multi-mode respiratory support for less sick babies and those transitioning from respiratory support, facilitating essential skin-to-skin contact between parents and baby.
Each variant also offers the option for Oxygenie, Inspiration Healthcare's automated oxygen control algorithm, which helps maintain appropriate oxygen levels for neonates and improve outcomes.
Neil Campbell, Inspiration's CEO, said: "This is further demonstration of our continued commitment to pioneering innovative technologies to improve neonatal healthcare and help save the lives of premature babies around the world. We are excited about the potential of these products around the world."
