Amazon has launched its own TVs in the UK for the first time.
The eCommerce giant began building its own sets in 2021 but they were initially only available to customers in the United States.
Now, UK consumers can purchase the Fire TV Omni QLED Series, which has Amazon services already built in.
The TVs are available in four sizes, ranging from 43 inches to 65 inches wide, with prices starting at £429.99.
The retail giant is following in the footsteps of Sky, which launched its Sky Glass service in the autumn of 2021.
"Televisions are the fastest growing segment of the Fire TV business and we’re excited to bring a full line-up of Amazon-built TVs with easy content discovery, integrated smart home controls, and Alexa voice control to the UK,” commented Fire TV Europe director Emma Gilmartin.
The company also announced on Wednesday that its Luna cloud gaming service and controller, priced at £59.99, are now available in the UK, in addition to Canada and Germany.
The service will be available on select devices, including PC and Mac, iOS, Android, Fire tablets and Fire TV.
A Luna+ subscription costs £8.99 a month and includes access to more than 100 games.
Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ for £14.99 a month, offering access to over 40 Ubisoft games. For £3.99 a month, they can subscribe to Jackbox Games, which gives them access to all nine Jackbox Party Pack games.
Amazon Prime members are able to stream a rotating selection of games at no additional cost.
