Vivakor Inc (NASDAQ:VIVK) has revealed its new-look board of directors.
In a statement, the company’s CEO James Ballengee told investors that the new directors bring “a wealth of experience and knowledge” across the clean technology and financial sectors.
Independent directors John Harris, Albert Johnson and David Natan join Vivakor CFO Tyler Nelson and Ballangee on the board.
“Our new directors provide a diverse range of experience applicable to oil and gas, operations, technology, public companies and capital markets. We are confident that this newly constructed Board will help us successfully navigate the capital markets,” the CEO told shareholders.
Harris has over 35 years of experience with public company boards of directors, as well as an international business background in technology services, telecommunications, healthcare, and business process outsourcing.
Johnson adds “significant expertise,” according to Vivakor, especially with respect to the company's midstream and downstream operations, having worked extensively in the oil and gas industry.
Natan brings extensive public company experience, including direct involvement in approximately 25 M&A transactions, as well as advising regarding successful fund-raising activities, according to Vivakor.
And CFO Tyler Nelson has a strong financial background, having worked with clients with assets of more than $100 billion and annual revenues of more than $15 billion. He has worked with Vivakor in a part-time capacity since 2014 and as a full-time employee since 2020.
Lehi, Utah-based Vivakor is a clean energy technology company focused on the oil remediation and natural resources sectors.
