4:05pm: Sage Potash, GR Silver Mining (TSX-V:GRSL) shares add to gains late afternoon
Sage Potash closed up 220% at $0.80, while Brunswick (NYSE:BC) Exploration rose 5% to $0.88, Thunder Gold finished 25% higher to $0.05, and GR Silver Mining (TSX-V:GRSL) ended up 10% at $0.11.
11:55am: Sage Potash, Thunder Gold shares advance sharply
Sage Potash Corp (TSX-V:SAGE) (TSXV: SAGE) shares surged 140% to $0.60 on Monday after the potash project developer began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange and announced that it has identified a large-scale, high-grade, US-based potash resource.
As well, shares of Brunswick (NYSE:BC) Exploration Inc (TSXV:BRW) gained 8% to $0.91 as the mineral exploration company said it has begun a 3,000-metre drill program at the Anatacau West project, located in the Eeyou-Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, targeting the potential eastern extension of Allkem’s James Bay lithium deposit in an area that has yet to be drill-tested.
Thunder Gold Corp (TSXV:TGOL), meanwhile, reported results from the first three holes of the 2023 phase one drill campaign currently underway at the Tower Mountain Gold Property in northwestern Ontario, which included 941 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 1.5 metres. Thunder Gold stock moved up 38% to $0.055 following the announcement.
And, GR Silver Mining (TSX-V:GRSL) Ltd shares rose 5% to $0.105 on Monday after the Mexico-focused junior mineral exploration company announced an independent, updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its wholly-owned Plomosas Project in Mexico, with highlights including sharp rises in its Indicated and Inferred mineral resources.
