genedrive PLC (AIM:GDR) has been given the green light to roll out a new diagnostic that could help avoid irreversible lifelong hearing loss in babies exposed to broad-spectrum antibiotics called aminoglycosides.
Starting next month, the company’s MT-RNR1 ID kit will be available at two further hospital sites in the North West NHS after receiving backing from the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre.
The shares rose 10% to 47.26p on the back of the news.
