Essentially Group PLC (AQSE:ESSN), a health food company in the UAE, began trading today on London's AQSE Growth Market.
Shares began trading following a £600,000 fundraising, via a subscription for a total of 1.2mln shares at a price of 50p per share.
On admission, the company said it will have 51.2mln shares in issue with a market capitalisation of roughly £25.65mln.
Chief executive Raja Wail Abuljebain said the company's philosophy is that “quality nutrition should be easily accessible".
“We believe that our listing today on the AQSE Growth Market will allow us to reach more people and deliver on our mission to get this quality nutrition into as many hands as possible.”
This Essentially Group does not seem to be related to Essentially Group Limited, a sports marketing group that was bought in 2009 by Chime Communications, which itself delisted in 2015 as part of a merger of its Bell Pottinger PR arm with rival Pelham.
