4:05pm: Snowline Gold shares add to gains late afternoon
Ophir Gold closed up 15% at $0.23, while Tiidal Gaming Group jumped 125% to $0.09, Snowline Gold finished 23% higher to $2.99, and GreenBank Capital ended unchanged at $0.07.
11:55am: Ophir Gold, Tiidal Gaming Group shares make big gains
Ophir Gold Corp (TSXV:OPHR) shares jumped 25% to $0.25 on Tuesday after the gold exploration company announced that it has identified a new potential spodumene-bearing zone, as well as multiple lithium in soil anomalies, as a result of ongoing historical data compilation on the Radis Lithium Property located in the James Bay Region of Quebec.
As well, shares of Tiidal Gaming Group Corp (CSE:TIDL) shot up 125% to $0.09 as the esports and gaming-focused media and technology platform said it has agreed to sell its Sportsflare operating subsidiary to Entain Holdings (UK) Limited in consideration for C$13.25 million in cash.
Snowline Gold Corp. (CSE:SGD), meanwhile, reported that B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO) has agreed to complete a strategic investment into the company by purchasing common shares on the back end of an initial non-brokered flow-through private placement arranged by Snowline, which will result in B2Gold having an approximate 5% equity stake in the company. Snowline Gold stock moved up 10% to $2.69 following the announcement.
And, GreenBank Capital Inc (CSE:GBC) shares gained 14% to $0.08 on Tuesday after the business transformation company shared its first quarterly shareholder update for January to March 2023, with its CEO Terry Pullen saying, “we are pleased with the direction and growth that is being achieved”.
