VanadiumCorp Resource Inc (TSX-V:VRB) has announced the appointment of Peter Besenovsky as CEO of its European subsidiary, VanadiumCorp GmbH, effective April 2023.
The mineral exploration firm also said James Ross will assume the role of interim chief financial officer (CFO) of VanadiumCorp, effective March 15, 2023.
“These management changes will strengthen the company's ability to execute our strategy of advancing our strategic mineral properties in Québec and entering the market for the production of vanadium electrolytes in Canada and Europe,” VanadiumCorp Resource CEO Paul McGuigan said in a statement.

VanadiumCorp noted that Besenovsky is active in the renewable energy power generation sector, having previously worked for an international German engineering firm, while Ross brings over 30 years of experience as a financial professional and manager and specializes in corporate and project finance and MA in the renewable energy industry.
As well, the company said Stephen Pearce has resigned as VanadiumCorp’s CFO, effective March 15, 2023, but will remain on its board of directors, while John Hewlett will retire from the company's board, effective March 30, 2023, but will remain involved with VanadiumCorp as a member of its advisory board.
VanadiumCorp Resource Inc (TSX-V:VRB) is a mineral exploration company based in Québec and Vancouver, with 100% ownership of two strategic vanadium, titanium, and iron properties in Québec: the Iron T near Matagami and its flagship Lac Doré property near Chibougamau.
