Elon Musk is reportedly building a town for his Boring Company, SpaceX and Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) employees in Texas known as “Snailbrook”.
“Snailbrook,” a reference to Musk telling his Boring Co employees to build tunnelling machines that move quicker than a snail, is already the site of a trailer park for workers.

Musk now plans to grow his utopian dream, charging workers around US$800 a month for one or two-bedroom homes in the new 110-home town.
Employees would also have a 30-day window to leave if they were fired or left their jobs, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Musk has been buying farmland along the Colorado River, with the planned development sitting close by to new Boring Co and SpaceX hubs, as well as the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas.
Plans for an entire city have previously been floated, according to messages seen by the Journal, while Boring Co president Steve Davis even suggested the development could have a mayor.
Musk has gained a reputation for wanting his employees to work hard for long hours and last year was found out to be turning Twitter offices into makeshift hotel rooms.
