Rogue Baron (AQSE:SHNJ, OTCQB:SHNJF) plc, the owner of high-end spirits brands, has won another gold medal award for its premium whisky Shinju.
The Japanese spirit was awarded a gold medal at the 2023 Los Angeles Invitational Spirits Challenge.
Shinju, a whisky double distilled with flavours of honey and orange, scored 94 out of a possible 100 at the awards.
The judges said the spirit was “earthy, subtle and elegant”.
The UK-based company also owns the tequila brand Copa Imperial and the champagne brand Mazeray.
Rogue Baron (AQSE:SHNJ, OTCQB:SHNJF) currently trades on the Aquis exchange and the OTCQB under the SHNJ and SHNJF tickers respectively.
The whisky market is believed to be worth more than US$88bln (£74bn) and is expected to grow by 5.2% annually, according to research from Mordor Intelligence.
