Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC (AIM:AFM) said it expects full-year results to be “significantly ahead” of current market expectations.
Organic net fee income grew by a strong double-digit amount, the provider of specialist consultancy services to the asset management, wealth management and insurance industries said in a year-end trading statement.
Underlying earnings (EBITDA) have “grown well” with margins remaining consistent in the second half and the balance sheet was said to be strong.
Client demand was said to be strong across all major geographic regions, with North America remaining the star performer, including alternative investment specialist Lionpoint.
On the outlook, the AIM-listed group said it has continued to deliver good sales wins and has maintained its strong opportunity pipeline.
The statement was published ahead of a virtual capital markets presentation for institutional investors and investment analysts, where management will set out their aim to double net fee income over the next five years alongside a consistent profit margin.
Euan Fraser, who is stepping down as the company's chief executive role after ten years, noted that since its initial public offering in 2017 Alpha FMC has become a global business and almost quadrupled profits.
“We remain mindful of the inflationary backdrop and geopolitical uncertainties and remain positive that the underlying industry trends and our market-leading reputation will continue to drive demand globally for our services,” he said.
Luc Baqué, who is chief executive designate, said the company sees “more opportunities to further expand the group's offering and geographic reach”, with the five-year target being set out today including both organic growth and through selective acquisitions.
