Rock band KISS has been successfully using Ondine Biomedical Inc's (AIM:OBI) Steriwave treatment since September 2021 to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19, according to a press release by Lux Vitae International.
The announcement was made during a press briefing on Tuesday (March 6) where experts discussed the benefits of the Steriwave treatment for decolonising the nose in preventing and treating the virus.
The briefing featured speakers such as Dr Jack Kolenda, Dr Joseph Argemi, Gary Segal, and Professor Trevor Jones alongside Ondine's chief executive founder Carolyn Cross. Rod Black, a well-known Canadian sports presenter, hosted the event.
The Steriwave treatment has been approved in several countries but is not yet available in the United States.
