Getech Group PLC (AIM:GTC) surged nearly 9% in Monday’s morning trade following the announcement that Dr Graham Cooley has been appointed as chair of the geoenergy group’s H2 Green project.
Cooley, who successfully led ITM Power as chief executive from 2009 to 2022, will assist H2 Green to expand and develop its portfolio of hydrogen and renewable energy projects and maximise its potential as a 'pure play' UK project developer.
“I am genuinely excited to welcome Graham and we look forward to him applying his vision and experience to developing H2Green,” said Getech executive chair Richard Bennett.
Getech shares were changing hands at 15.58p with a market capitalisation of £10.5mln as of 9.45am, 6 March.
