Coro Energy PLC (AIM:CORO) announced on Monday it intends to appoint Naheed Memon as a non-executive director of the company.
Memon is the chief executive of fellow AIM-listed company Oracle Power.
"I look forward to welcoming Naheed to the board and to her contribution across the business, including our regional business development," said executive chairman James Parsons.
Memon becomes Coro’s fourth non-executive director as it looks to ramp up production capacity with new solar and wind projects in the Philippines, adding Asia and Italy-based gas and clean energy assets.
Memon, who splits her time between Islamabad, Dubai and London, is on Pakistan’s committee on coal development and part of its ministry of energy, alongside heading western Australia and Pakistan-focused Oracle.
