WANdisco PLC, the data activation platform, confirmed on Monday it is looking at an additional listing for its shares in the US.
The firm was responding to recent press speculation, notably a report on Sky News, which said bankers from Evercore Partners have been hired to prepare for a listing in New York.
“As a dual UK and US headquartered technology company, WANdisco has long-stated its intention to consider an additional listing of its ordinary shares in the United States,” the company said in a statement.
“The company can confirm that it is in the early stages of proactively exploring this option,” it added.
But WANDisco confirmed it remains committed to London's Alternative Investment Market and to maintaining its current UK AIM listing.
The news comes hot on the heels of a disappointing week for the London market with ARM Holdings confirming its IPO would be in the US while CRH said it was moving its main listing across the pond.
Research by Proactive suggested Flutter Entertainment, Ashtead Group, Compass, Pearson and Experian (LSE:EXPN) were among companies making more than half their money in the States and could be next to make the move.
