Mining M&A could heat up with next week's PDAC conference

It’s been a big week for miners who have released a slew of news from drill and metallurgical testing results to exploration updates ahead of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) event being held in Toronto, Canada from March 5th to 8th.

There's never a lack of M&A talk at the event, which brings together up to 30,000 people from more than 130 countries.

Of note this week, LithiumBank Resources Corp released a hydrogeological study for its Park Place project revealing it is North America’s largest continuous lithium-rich brine project by volume, while South Star Battery Metals Corp told investors it is set to put its Santa Cruz open-pit flake graphite mining project in Brazil into production in 2023, marking the first new graphite production in the Americas since 1996.
