Figure, a California-based stealth AI robotics company, has recently unveiled its first product, Figure 01, a humanoid robot designed for jobs that are undesirable or unsafe for humans.
Developed with the aim of addressing labour shortages, Figure 01 boasts impressive capabilities such as the ability to carry up to 20 kilograms of payload, run for up to five hours on a single charge and the ability to navigate complex environments.
Interestingly, the robot also features a high-performance AI system, allowing it to learn from its surroundings and interact with humans.
The company claims that the robot can perform tasks such as cleaning, delivery, security, inspection, maintenance, hospitality and entertainment, making it a versatile addition to any workforce.
Figure 01 is set to launch later this year as service to customers looking to augment their workforce with robots.
